case your preferred date is unavailable. Prior to booking, we hope you are able
to come out in person to the winery!

Do I need to schedule a tour, or can I just stop by?

We kindly request that all tours are booked by appointment only. Please email
info@oldoakswinery.com to schedule your tour.

Do we have to utilize your preferred caterers list?

We highly recommend using our preferred caterers list. We have selected these
caterers because we believe they have great food, good service, have affordable
options along with a variety of upgrades, and because they are great people to
work with! These caterers have shown to use that they are personally invested
in the success of your wedding day or event!

Will there be another wedding the same day?

We choose to only host one wedding each day to ensure that each couple’s
event is special and can receive our full attention.

Do you include a “wedding day coordinator?”

This is a tricky question. Our simple response is no. We think it’s possible for the
job duties of a “wedding day coordinator” to mean something different to you than
it does to us. The last thing we want is the opportunity for a miscommunication.
However, we do have a team leader here before you arrive onsite and will stay
throughout the duration of your event. This team member is there to help
however they can (be an extra set of hands decorating, driving guest on the
Gator’s for pictures, and directing vendors, etc.) Their goal is to do everything
possible to help your day go smoothly and ensure your event is stress free! But
we don’t consider them to be a “wedding day coordinator.”

Are there overnight accommodations nearby?

The Axis Hotel in downtown Moline also offers bulk room rates and offers a
shuttle service to the hotel from the Old Oaks Winery. Bally’s
Casino also offers bulk room rates and a shuttle service for hotel guests.

Do you offer straight tables instead of round?

We have a limited number of straight tables onsite that can be used for your gift
table, head table, etc. Usually we have a few extras that can be mixed
into reception seating, but the majority of your guests will be seated at round
tables.

Do you provide table linens?

No. Old Oaks Winery provides an awesome venue, tables, chairs, and lots of
décor for the allotted time. Linens can be rented through us, but are NOT
included in your rental fee. You are also welcome to bring in your own linens. Our
linens can be rented for $10 each. Napkins and specialty linens will need to be
rented elsewhere.

What happens in case of rain?

We have a few beautiful options indoors at Old Oaks Winery. We take this as a
case by case option based upon your guest list.

We plan to have our ceremony offsite, does your rental fee change?

Because we only host one event per day, our fee structure remains the same
whether you have your ceremony offsite.

Do you allow dogs onsite to play part in our wedding day?

We are very dog friendly, with some specific stipulations. Dogs are allowed (only
with pre-approval by Chris) at the ceremony and pictures. Animals, other than
service animals, are NOT allowed under roof or near food. Dogs must be on a
leash and someone must be responsible for them other than the bride and
groom.

What time does music need to end?

Music on Friday’s/Saturday’s must conclude by 11:00 PM to ensure that all of
your guest are off property by 11:30 PM.

What time do you suggest we start the ceremony?

We suggest starting Friday weddings at 5:00 pm, Saturday weddings between
4:00 – 5:00 pm, and Sunday weddings at 4:00 pm.

Are candles allowed?

Yes, candles are allowed as long as the flame is completely contained in a
candle holder. Tapered candles and any type of hanging candles will not be
allowed for safety reasons.

What is the event clean-up process?

Old Oaks Winery staff will handle standard clean up and trash removal
throughout and following the wedding reception.

Can I bring in snacks and drinks?

Outside food/snacks are permitted. Outside drinks of any kind are not allowed.
